Who we are
About the clinic
The clinic was founded by Dr. Abdulrahman Binyahya, a general dentist. Its Saudi dentists work in general and preventive dentistry, root canal treatment, fillings and prosthetics, oral surgery and dental implants, and children’s dentistry.
Treatment begins with an examination and, where needed, a digital panoramic X-ray taken in the clinic. The dentist then explains the treatment plan, its steps and the number of visits before starting. Extractions, root canal treatment and surgical procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic.
A screen above the treatment chair
A screen fixed in the ceiling above the treatment chair, which the patient can watch during the visit.
Nitrous-oxide sedation for adults and children
The patient stays awake throughout, and the dentist decides whether it is suitable after reviewing the patient’s health.
Root canal re-treatment
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah re-treats root canals that were not successful the first time, and decides after the examination and X-ray whether the tooth can be kept.
Cost is set after the examination
The cost of treatment is set after the examination and X-ray, and explained to the patient before treatment starts.
At the clinic
Clinical technology and equipment
The clinic’s dentists use a rotary system to clean and shape root canals, a dental laser in root canal, gum and whitening treatment, and digital panoramic X-rays for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Rotary root canal treatment
Rotating instruments driven by an electric motor, which the dentist uses to clean and shape the root canals evenly. They may shorten the session compared with hand instruments.
Dental laser
The laser helps disinfect the root canals during treatment but does not replace cleaning them, and it is also used to trim and reshape the gums. The dentist decides whether a case calls for it.
Nitrous-oxide (laughing-gas) sedation
The patient breathes nitrous oxide mixed with oxygen through a small nose mask. It helps the patient relax while staying awake and breathing normally, and it wears off shortly after the gas is stopped. It may not suit some cases, such as a blocked nose.
Laser teeth whitening
The dentist examines the teeth and gums first; the unit then activates the whitening gel on the tooth surface during the session. How much lighter the teeth become varies from person to person, and whitening does not change the colour of fillings or crowns.
Digital panoramic X-ray
Taken in the clinic, a single image shows both jaws, the teeth and their roots. The dentist plans surgical extractions and implants on it, and uses it to assess the position of an impacted tooth and its distance from the nerve.
Dedicated sterilization room
Instruments are sterilized before use in a separate room inside the clinic, apart from the treatment rooms.
